I am currently working with an established organisation who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join them on a 6 months basis. This an excellent opportunity with a focus on Management Accounts and Budgeting. You would be joining a dynamic team in a modern work environment and duties will include:
• Business partnering - Providing advice and finance support to complex divisions and managers within the business
• Accurately forecast the financial position - prepare and monitor draft forecasts investigating significant changes
• Supporting budget holders on all financial matters
• Providing financial input to business cases
• Monitoring performance against budgets, analysing and reporting on income & expenditure variances
• Prepare detailed finance reports detailing trends, outrun, forecasts and recommending a set of action plans
• Manage and reconcile all incomes against the ledger
• Ensure all staff are set up correctly on the Payroll system
• Prepare monthly monitoring information
• Contributing to the drawing up of department/service budgets
• Discuss current and forecasted financial position
• Holding monthly meetings with budget holders
• Responsible for advising budget holders on policies and procedures
• Preparing annual budgets for various teams
• Coordinate the production of any statutory an ad hoc costings
• Produce ad hoc financial reports as required by the business Person Specification:
• Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
• Ideally experience of working in a large complex organisation
• Excellent IT Skills
• Experience of Oracle would be advantageous
