Part Time Finance & Admin Manager - Based in Colne - Permanent - Up to £26000 FTE - Flexible working
Your new company
Your new company is a public services business in Colne, who have recently expanded and acquired a number of new projects in the local area. Due to this expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Finance and Admin Manager to join their team on a permanent, part time basis.
Your new role
Your new role will involve you reporting directly to the CEO, where you will be responsible for the preparation of meeting agendas and taking minutes within team meetings, ensuring transparency of information being entered into the system. You will also support the CEO with the bookkeeping, producing financial reports and budget preparation, including preparation for internal and external audits. Where applicable, you will be involved in preparing the annual revenue, capital budgets and grant claims. Alongside this, you will be responsible for the bank reconciliations, processing payroll records, year end accruals, VAT returns and monthly end close-down. This is a part time role, working 30 hours between Monday and Friday. You will sometimes be required to work in an evening to minute and/or lead meetings, however, this time is returned in lieu.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, you should be able to demonstrate an element of flexibility with you work attitude and be happy to assist in other areas outside of your job description. You will have relevant experience working in a similar role and be comfortable in assisting with budget preparation. Ideally, you will be AAT qualified or be qualified by experience. A strong, working knowledge of bespoke systems is essential.
What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be offered a competitive full time equivalent salary between £23,000 - £26,000 which on 30 hours, would equate to £17,500 - £19,500. You will be offered a flexible working schedule, where you can plan your hours per week with the CEO. The team is extremely supportive, friendly and have all worked for the business for an extended period of time.
