Cambridge, Cambridgeshire- A leading business based in central Cambridge are looking for a Management Accountant to join their existing finance team. Reporting to and working closely with the management accounts team you will be joining an organisation that has been established for a sustained period of time with excellent staff retention and additional benefits that encourage a progressive and support environment. The role will involve maintaining and building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business as you support them with key financial information enabling them to make commercial decisions, these include; Business Unit Directors, non finance colleagues and the wider management accounts function. You will be analysing trends with analysis on variances incorporating budget holders into the process as you demonstrate the impact of financial performance. The nature of the role will focus on working with large volumes of data as you create user friendly outputs to aid support in the budgeting, forecasting and controls processes while engaging with budgets holders to ensure compliance with finance policies and regulations. The successful applicant will be actively studying or qualified in a recognised accounting qualification. You will have strong experience of data manipulation, have the ability to explain financial findings to both finance and non finance individuals while being able to problem solve and help with decision making process.
