Description

The successful applicant this permanent Commercial FP&A Analyst role will be responsible for the following:

• Planning -Advise key stakeholders (e.g., Cost Center managers, Sales directors) to generate solutions to obtaining necessary resources within budgetary constraints, including identifying opportunities and mitigating risk

• Business Reporting and Analysis - Assess report data (e.g., month-end matrix report, quarter-end year-over-year sequence reporting, headcount reporting, trend analysis, planned and forecast variance analysis, etc.) to identify opportunities for course correction/course alignment, writing justification for variances

• Month-End Close - Manage cost centre finances including journal entries, review financial measures, provide guidance and advice regarding cost centre performance, and develop BU specific reports (e.g., commission support, customer rebates)

• Special Projects - Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis. Participate in cross-functional financial projects. Identify opportunities and lead the implementation of changes to drive improvements

Profile

To be considered for this permanent role you posses the following:

• Have at least 1-2 years experience working in an analytical role
• Have a degree in Accounting/ Finance (or related) 2:2 minimum
• Will be ACCA or CIMA part qualified or finalist level
• Have intermediate excel skills (vlookups and pivot tables)
• Have a proven track record of team work
