Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be recruiting for a purchase ledger clerk position for a nationwide market leader based in Ashby De La Zouch.
Your new role
In your new role you will responsible for working alongside the existing purchase ledger clerk, ensuring that supplier invoices and credit notes are distributed for authorisation by departmental heads and Senior Managers inline with company policy. You will be responsible for making sure any outstanding invoices are chased and deal with any queries, process all approved supplied invoices and credit notes on to the purchase ledger.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recent and relevant purchase ledger or accounts payable mid-high volume processing experience. You will need to be highly organised, like working to deadlines and have excellent communication skills. You will be confident in using Microsoft Office especially Excel. Experience of Sage would be desirable or similar accounting software.
