Trainee Credit Control / Customer Services - Chelmsford -OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN INSURANCE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE!


Your new company
You will be working for a global insurance business based in Chelmsford City Centre. The business has modern offices and is located close to public transport links, as well as car parking nearby. The business has gone through a period of change over the last few years and is looking to expand their Credit Control team with a Trainee Credit Controller.

Your new role
You will make use of either previous Customer Services experience or Credit Control experience for this role. You will be working closely with experienced members who will impart their knowledge of the Insurance industry (IBA) and provide required training.

Your duties will include:
Maintenance and day-to-day handling of the IBA ledgers, ensuring timely collection and settlement of funds;
Contacting / communicating with clients by telephone and email
Assisting the IBA Manager with the month end processes, reviewing data accuracy and report generation;
Liaising with affiliated offices to ensure records are updated to reflect amendments;
Assisting the IBA team with the correct allocation of cash, investigations into non-reconciling items, producing reports and reviewing ledgers; and
Ad hoc duties when required

What you'll need to succeed
You ideally have 1 years experience from within an office environment and be able to use outlook, basic Excel and be fairly computer savvy. Previous experience from a Customer Services or Credit Control or Insurance business would be beneficial but is not essential.
