Service Accountant-Hackney---£200-250 per Day---Interim Role


A Financial Accountant job in Hackney. Running until the end of June working for a local authority within the child services department.

Your new role
The successful candidate will produce the three parts of the annual budget cycle (budget setting, budget monitoring & accounts closing. As well as providing high quality financial advice to assist with operational decision making. Other responsibilities will include working with relevant budget holders to identify financial risks, deputising for the group accountant where necessary and also coaching and developing the current accountancy assistants.


What you'll need to succeed
Applicants must be Fully Qual AAT or Part Qual CCAB

You must have experience of working at a local authority, and within a child's services/social care department
Candidates will need to be highly competent with their IT skills (excel specifically), and have the ability to clearly communicate finance issues to a wide audience, especially non-financial colleagues.
