To provide commercial support as deemed necessary to these organization, including liaising with the creditors, debtors and other stakeholders directly. This would include

Making payments to the vendors Seek collection of dues and raising commercial invoices (usually minimal)

Client Details

A well established Manufacturing organisation in Medway looking to bring a Financial / Management Accountant on board for a 1 year Fixed Term Contract

Description

  • Prepare & present monthly accounts of group companies including full account reconciliation (inventory, Debtors, Creditors, Bank position and P&L account). This would involve
  • Preparing full P&L
  • Preparing full BS
  • Preparing Cash flow statements
  • Prepare Monthly financial commentary.
  • Reconciling key ledgers (e..g. Inventory, Debtors and creditors)
  • Ensure accruals and prepayment of expenses and reconciliation thereof.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns for these entities.
  • Posting of accounting entries
  • Invoicing and banking transactions
  • This will entail using Group's ERP package - Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Provide full commercial support to the for a division under the guidance of the Group FD
  • Help the supply chain team with analysis on Inventory
  • Analysis on Listing fees in US
  • Help the Country Head in understanding the Cost drivers and values.
  • Any other reports/projects as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Profile

  • ACCA - CIMA PQ or Finalist
  • Excel - Advanced ideally
  • Availability: Immediate or 4 Weeks
  • Provide Legal secretarial support to GFD on Group matters.
  • Get involved in any other projects that may be necessary from time to time.
  • Good experience of book keeping and monthly closing of final Accounts.
  • Excellent computing skills - Excel and other MS products and working knowledge of accounting packages (Sage) and understanding of ERP (though not essential)
  • Highly analytical, ability to carry out root cause analysis and able to develop and interpret data and information for reporting.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation and externally
  • Can work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Having a will to learn and go extra mile to achieve strict time targets.
