Due to growth and expansion our client who is a leader in their industry are looking for a well - established and experienced 'Head of Finance' to lead their existing Finance team, reporting directly into the MD. It's an exciting time for the business as they are going through a period of investment and growth through acquisition. This is a fast-paced, senior management role within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to analyse critical financial data and present reports at Board level. You'll be based at their offices, a couple of miles from Nottingham City Centre, on a permanent basis. To be considered for the role, you'll require the following: Degree level education, ideally in Finance Experience of a start-up business strongly preferred. Entrepreneurial and able to work outside the box to assist in developing the business and exceeding financial goals Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines. Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time. ACCA or CIMA qualified, or working towards qualification Experience of working in a Financial Conduct Authority regulated business. Merger and acquisition finance experience Within this position, you'll also be: Acting as the direct point of contact for all accounting operations and activities Overseeing all transactions relating to general lodger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting Analysing the financial results with profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets and forecasts Issuing regular reports and statues to senior management Providing strategy guidance around capital finance and supporting the company's growth Developing, maintaining and updating the business model and trends, providing updates, guidance and analysis Developing and maintaining the policies Assisting in financial planning Managing cash flow Managing relationships with the regulators and always ensure compliance Interacting with capital partners and board of directors Preparation of the Annual Report including drafting business Cohesively work with MD to develop group strategy Manage the Audit and to ensure that the year-end audit process runs smoothly Presentation of financial results to the board of directors and senior management Develop outstanding working relationships with internal/external stakeholders Salary & Working Hours Salary - £60,000 per annum Benefits Working hours are Monday - Friday Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Sales, HR, Marketing, Finance and Office support.
