Due to continued success, our client are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Overview: Accountable for "business compliance" against both internal and external statutory, regulatory and business processes. Provide leadership, guidance and advice on regulatory and statutory requirements that impact the business both directly and indirectly. Responsibility for the business IMS and how it cascaded throughout and adhered to by the organisation. To drive QHSE compliance through promotion of a safety first and right first-time culture. To educate and motivate through continuous improvement to reduce risk and embed a positive QHSE ethos. Strong working relationships with other key stakeholders including clients, the senior operational team, and the Head of QHSE. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Experience of undertaking QHSE or management system audits. Sound knowledge and practical experience of applicable Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, industry best practice, ISO Standards relative to QHSE. Lead Auditor training. Experience in the use of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Tools. A NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum. Previous experience in an engineering environment or relevant industry sector. Excellent people and project management skills. The ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively, working to tight deadlines.
