We're looking for a talented and energetic Financial Accountant to join our team in Warsaw Working at Premier Research means being an individual - you will be recognised for what you do and you will truly have an impact. You will be working in a friendly environment with colleagues who are genuinely supportive regardless of location or seniority. This role will be responsible for assisting in the completion and reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis, and to provide support to the finance team to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate can be either office based in Warsaw, Poland or Wokingham, Berkshire. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and maintains a good knowledge of the company's finance processes and procedures and the accounting system relating to the required activities
• Applies accounting knowledge and techniques to all areas of work, including the production of journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
• Performs financial calculations to support financial transactions relating to cash, pre-payments, accruals, fixed assets, costs etc
• Works with local accountants to ensure accuracy between local books and Costpoint
• Supports to Finance Manager for central tasks when applicable
• Participates in corporate initiatives and actions that ensure the continued success of the company EDUCATION, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• The candidate should be studying towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or QBE
• Previous related experience ideally gained in a global setting
• Fluent verbal and written English
• Excellent team player, collaborative and able to build an effective team
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, able prioritise work to meet deadlines
• Accountable, dependable and strong commitment
• Is customer service focused in approach to work both internally and externally
• Maintains a positive, results orientated work environment
