Exciting opportunity available near Holmewood for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small team on a permanent basis. Duties will include:
• Processing high volume of purchase invoices
• Passing invoices to managers to authorise
• Statement Reconciliations
• Liaising with Suppliers and dealing with any queries
• Assisting with weekly payroll
• Running weekly age debt report and sending out to directors
• Credit control (chasing outstanding debtors)
• Liaising with departments regarding outstanding debts
• Sending statements out to customers
• Bank postings
• Petty cash reconciliation
• Posting credit card payments
• Completing the weekly payment run
• Closing purchase ledger/subcontractor ledger
• Processing subcontractor invoices The idea candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a similar Accounts role. You will have the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise your workload effectively with minimal supervision. You will be proactive and enthusiastic in your approach.
