Redmill Consulting world-renowned client is currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager. Based near excellent public transport links and with free-parking , this opportunity will ideally suit senior Accountants who have strong business partnering skills with the capability of managing a team of Qualified/Senior Accountants. This role has responsibility for the co-ordination & management of the extended Management Accounting team across the organisation. JOB The role of Senior Finance Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following: Managing a team of five Accountants who will assist you in the duties listed below Reporting consolidated financial information to the senior management team Building & reviewing budgets & financial plans from the bottom-up, which feed into the overall financial planning process Preparing & presenting 3-5 year forward financial plans & gaining approval for these Ensuring management accounts are prepared by stakeholders accurately and on time Preparing & reporting consolidated income & expenditure, balance sheet & cash-flow reporting Preparing value-add commentary detailing key financial risks & opportunities Producing & interpreting a wide variety of regular & ad-hoc financial data & analysis, including financial KPIs Influencing & challenging the decision-making of senior stakeholders by providing professional persuasive financial expertise. In doing so resolving issues & facilitating solutions Leading delivery of improvements to the efficiency & effectiveness of the management accounting processes & controls Management of centrally-held budgets YOU As Senior Finance Manager you will be skilled and/or qualified in the following Being a Qualified Accountant is essential Strong management accounting experience within a large, complex organisation Extensive knowledge of financial planning & budgeting, constructing consolidated budgets across the organisation Knowledge of managing a senior team with responsibility for budgeting & strategic planning within a complex environment Management knowledge will include coaching & performance management Knowledge developing & reviewing high quality assured business cases with colleagues & with non-finance professionals, presenting these at senior level Knowledge of working with & influencing senior management & building relationships Advanced skills in the use of all MS Office products, especially MS Excel (excellent skills required), MS PowerPoint & MS Word Knowledge of an ERP finance package would be strongly preferred Should this role be of interest please apply by attaching your most up to date CV.
