The role is responsible for ensuring the Risk Framework and Controls Testing procedures are operating as expected and sustaining a complicit working environment for the operations of the business. Responsibilities of the Risk & Controls Analyst: Prioritising and performing activities to support Risk, Compliance & Assurance frameworks. Risk event oversight - ensure reporting is robust and aligned to relevant breaches. Using MI to produce relevant reporting for the appropriate execution groups and board structure. Assessing the impact of any regulatory change on operations. Background of the Risk & Controls Analyst: An understanding of regulation and industry best practice standards that apply to adviser wrap platforms, including CASS, MiFID, CoBs and SYSC. Excellent analytical skills, able to produce and present meaningful analysis of complex problems and data. Experience of working in a regulated financial services environment, in a first or second line of defence role.
