We are currently working with a leading independent firm of accountants who are looking to bolster their team with a dynamic Semi-Senior Accountant based out of their office in Hitchin. The successful candidate will be will working in a small team, side by side with one of the directors who has a wealth of experience to pass on and will also offer the opportunity to gain client exposure from day one. The firm has been established for over 70 years and has a very high staff retention rate. They also have a fantastic support network for all their studiers, having 5 members of staff going through qualifications currently in an open and approachable environment. The Role Preparing statutory accounts for limited company's, partnerships and sole traders Occasional Audit work (Previous experience not necessary although ideal) Tax, bookkeeping and other accounting work when required Liaising directly with clients The Candidate A minimum of 2 years practice experience Ideally AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified Experience of completed statutory accounts to review stage Must be comfortable with interacting with clients face to face and over the telephone Must have a driving licence and own transport Remuneration and Benefits Negotiable salary Study support for ACCA provided Exam study leave Flexi time Bonus Scheme 20 days annual leave bank holidays Pension Free parking
