Overview:Are you in a Head of Finance or Financial Controller position and looking for some time in the week back, either a 4 day week or work 5 days with work from home a day or so? Or do you want to join an established Charity, undertaking ground-breaking research and give your skills to a worthy cause? If so, this role could be for you. The Charity is a large, UK based charity with a HQ of c.100 employees. We need a dynamic, experienced Senior Finance professional to join the established team, working from the head office in Peterborough. The ideal person will lead on all things financial and legal as well as business partnering and activities to maximise opportunities/control risk. The Role: We are flexible with how you work, as long as the job is done, so whether that be 4 days in the office, one from home or if you want to work a 4 day week, that is absolutely fine Day to day, as with any Head-of role, the requirements will vary across a broad, exciting mix, including: Leading, developing and managing a team of 5 direct reports; Hands-on with operational finance including cash and treasury management Producing contracts and leal documents; Budgeting and reporting; Development of the Charity's work and systems processes. Requirements: We are pretty open to background and sector but we do require the following: Educated to degree level Previous role at Head of Finance or Financial Controller level (essential) CCAB Qualified Experience of VAT, Tax, Payroll Excellent commercial knowledge Natural communicator, who is encouraging yet assertive Ideally knowledge of charity accounting and gift-aid (but not required) Leading-from-the-front approach to man management

£46,000 - £52,000 plus extensive benefits.
