This client is a developer and publisher of entertainment focused music apps and games. The business aims to give people an opportunity to express themselves musically. There are 8 people in the company and they are looking to grow further by adding potentially 9 people this year.



Your new role
The business is seeking an experience Accounts Assistant to join the London team reporting to the UK. This is a great opportunity for a capable self starter to build a role within this expanding company. Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the UK Financial controller to prepare UK and group accounts
• Manage a low volume accounts payable function from processing invoices to generating the payment runs
• manage the expenses process and support the senior teams reporting
• Process sales invoices and reconcile receipts
• Prepare month end revenue and cost of sales accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliation

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally-qualified CIMA or ACCA and continuing studies
• Experience of using Xero
• Experience across a number of accounting functions (AP and AR)
• SME experience of the advertising, media, or technology sectors
• Strong excel analytical skills
• Graduate in a numerate subject with a solid academic background
• Hard working and diligent
• Keen self-starter looking to build a career in finance
• Strong team player
