Taunton A rare opportunity to join a high growth service sector SME which has recently won a number of lucrative contracts and has secured significant investment, paving the way for an exciting future. They provide a game-changing range of services which has shaken up the sector in which it operates. Dynamic, entrepreneurial and fast-paced, our client is seeking a high calibre, sharp and commercially astute individual. As Commercial Finance Manager, you will support these recent contract wins, sitting in on project board meetings, meeting with external stakeholders and taking ownership of a portfolio of projects. There will be a significant amount of analysis, modelling and bid support and the ad-hoc nature of the work will require someone who can manage conflicting priorities. With a regional focus that will involve travel, this is a highly autonomous and visible position and would appeal to someone who relishes this level of responsibility. Experience of working on infrastructure and/or construction projects would particularly prepare you for a role of this sort. In doing so, you will have gained experience of the likes of IRR/NPV analysis and be a strong communicator, able to engage with high profile external customers and the senior management team internally. You will think creatively and commercially and be able to work self-sufficiently. Whilst you might come from a more corporate background, you will be able to work at pace and thrive in an agile, rapidly expanding business with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Candidates will also need to be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Working in this role will give you the hands-on involvement of working for an SME and you will enjoy a close working relationship with senior management.
