Permanent Accounts Assistant based in Newcastle under Lyme

Your new company are a leader in their field, in a niche market and are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Your new role
Your new role will be an all round Accounts role including but limited to the following;
- Purchase ledger - processing invoices and payment, and preparing a month end report for goods received not invoiced.
- Sales ledger - posting bank transfers on the ledger, releasing credit orders, sending an amended aged debtors report to the sales team, and chasing credit customers for payment(mainly by email)
- Cash - counting cash on a daily basis, and making up floats for the shop Ordering office supplies, including weekly internet orders
- Payroll - summarising weekly paid staffs hours in excel for authorisation by the warehouse manager.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience of working as a ledger clerk is essential, and experience of sage 200 would be useful but not essential. You will have proven experience and be able to hit the ground running.
