Payroll Administrator - £28,000 -£32,000 - Cambridge

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator. The role will support the Payroll Manager in the delivery of the payroll and benefits service in the UK and across Europe. Your new role
You will be supporting with all payroll, pension and benefit processes for the UK and across Europe and help handle statutory payments and returns to the relevant authorities, ensuring the company fulfils its legal requirements. In addition to this, you will be ensuring that data is received in the right format and processed carefully so that all our payrolls are accurate and delivered on time and you will be responsible for producing timely and accurate reports for colleagues. The role will require you to respond to payroll related queries from employees and partners to ensure high levels of customer service

What you will need
To be the successful candidate you will have experience in accurate and timely payroll preparation, processing and reconciliation along with some payroll statutory knowledge. You will need to be confident working with MS Excel and able to set-up and use pivot tables, formulas and V-lookups. You will need to be a superb communicator, care deeply about building relationships and be highly customer orientated. Some pension statutory knowledge and using SAP software would be advantageous. Ideally, a relevant Institute of Payroll Professionals (IPP) qualification, or equivalent desired not essential.
Candidates must be technically strong, have good payroll experience and also be system savvy. Candidates must be computer literate and able to deal with high volumes of data and processes.
