Payroll Assistant - £16,000 - £23,000 dependent on experience - Permanent Role - Llanelli

Your new company
My client is a well established manufacturing organisation who is currently looking to recruit a payroll assistant to work alongside a payroll manager and a second payroll assistant.
My client is flexible on looking at a variety of candidates in terms of their experience including juniors who have touched on payroll administration through to experienced payroll clerks.

Your new role
You will be responsible for working in a fast paced team completing payroll for 1000+ employees.
This will include inputting hours for weekly, monthly and shift patterns payments
Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is paramount.
Office hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday but the successful candidate will need to be flexible in order to cover payroll deadlines that may occasional mean an early or late start.
