Description

This role does not involve any management accounts or financial accounts, its purely commercial and operational and reporting into the financial controller and director. It involves interpreting large excel data sets and analysing them.

• Analysing large data sets and building KPI reports - 100,000 lines in the excel spreadsheets

• The KPIS are excel data sheets involving sales date/hourly volumes/charge rates/gross margins/trends/retention/operational overheads

• Extracting data from one system, putting it in excel and then pulling reports from it

• The role involve excel to a good level - experience of pivot tables and lookups are essential

• Provide detailed analysis and understanding of the KPIs

• Producing data and explaining it to the financial controller and director in meetings

• Lendors analysis

• Uploading invoices in excel

• Assist the operational teams with ad hoc issues to ensure a financially sound decision making process

Profile

• The role would suit someone who has been working as an accounts assistant, assistant accountant or ledger clerk and would like a more analytical role analysing large data sets and producing data for the financial controller and director on excel with lots of reporting.
• You will need to have dealt with similar volumes before on excel spreadsheets
• Intermediate excel experience is essential - pivot tables and lookups experience
• AAT studier, ACCA/CIMA studier or qualified by experience

• Salary of up to £28,000 per annum maximum
