Finance Analyst job based in Surrey paying up to £50k plus bonus
Your new company
You will be working for a leading global company with 40,000 employees serving more than 140 countries.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing support on revenue recognition under the new standards as well as monthly reporting and analysis. Your role will involve establishing strong working relationships with members of the finance community, operational, legal and business teams. Your key responsibilities will include reconciling system generated revenues to expected revenues and investigating anomalies, enhancing reporting for the business leadership team to allow for understanding of revenue drivers and support decision making, producing detailed variance analysis for revenues versus prior month, forecast and plan, and planning and forecasting modelling to support the finance business partners.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or ACMA) or part-qualified accountant on track to qualify, with a good understanding of accounting standards. You will have advanced Excel skills with strong analytical modelling and problem solving ability. You will have the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others across functions.
