The ECITB is the statutory skills body for the engineering construction industry in Great Britain. It works closely with employers and the Government to attract develop and qualify engineering construction personnel in a wide range of craft, technical and professional skills and disciplines.

The ECITB also has international operations and supports clients in 18 countries, supporting the development of engineering and project delivery skills across the energy, processing and construction sectors.

Employer-led, the ECITB provides businesses with the support to train the engineers of today and tomorrow to the highest standards, via a regionally based network of 172 approved training providers (ATPs).
