Our Scotland finance team are business partners to the route managing director's organisation and provide the information required to make crucial business decisions and also work with external customers and suppliers to achieve value for money.
We also have a number of responsibilities regarding corporate governance and act as a 'check and balance' for the business.
Provide pro-active business expertise to the Delivery Unit. Provide support and challenge to influence decisions to achieve efficiencies in the Delivery Unit.

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Student/part membership (or equivalent) of the relevant professional
body having progressed beyond the first stage of qualification, or
possession of sufficient experience to fulfil the requirements of the
role without membership of the relevant professional body
* Experience within finance disciplines of Network Rail and/or external
* Commercial Awareness
* Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative
* Reacts swiftly to customer requests for support and ability to
proactively resolve issues.
* Innovative thinking
* Railway / Construction industry knowledge

The salary for this role is circa £29,000 dependent on experience
