Auditor Insurance Company - £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A leading Insurance Company requires an ideally qualified accountant to join their city based audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a progressive, exciting and forward thinking Insurance company.
Your responsibilities will include;
Assessing internal controls, identifying and recommending cost effective improvements where necessary
Providing assurance, through testing, monitoring or review that internal controls are operating effectively
Reporting internal control exceptions and the progress of corrective action through to senior executive management
Planning and completion of operational audits, to time, quality and cost agreeing results and recommendations with management
Performing reviews in line with the annual Sarbanes Oxley work programme including documenting, testing and the development of remediation plans for key internal financial control processes
Undertaking special investigations, project reviews and due diligence of corporate M&A activity
The ideal candidate will have strong academics including Accounting or Auditing qualifications. A second language would be advantageous. The candidate must have good industry experience gained within audit and should have had significant exposure to regulatory framework. The ideal candidate should also have first class communication skills: report writing, one to one, group and strong presentation skills.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits
