Bookkeeper- South West London - Construction Business Organisation - £17-18 per hour + Perm opportunity

A leading construction company renowned for providing building solutions across a range of industries including commercial. retail, leisure and transport are seeking a Finance Assistant. Specialising in high-end projects this company has a track record of delivering successful developments.

Your new role
You will report into the Managing Director and be responsible for managing the sales ledger and purchase ledger, payment runs including CIS and bank reconciliations. You will also be responsible for processing of payroll and CIS verification, time sheets and calculations. You will also carry out balance sheet reconciliations, month end journals including prepayments, accruals and fixed assets. You will also be involved in monthly management accounts production, cash flow and assist with all month end and year end processes.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential candidates have previous experience of working in a Bookkeeper capacity with experience of taking accounts to trial balance, managing the ledgers, producing management accounts, review P+L and balance sheet. You will have a strong track record of working with finance and can work independently to complete tasks accurately and effectively, working under pressure and driving for improvement. Candidates will have excellent processing skills and attention to detail with the initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work methodically under pressure to prioritise and manage your time to meet deadlines.
