SME Engineering Company in Milton Keynes are on the look out for an experienced Finance Manager to lead their finance function. A retirement in the business has created the need for a new head to come in and drive development and change across their finance department.

Description

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all Management Accounting including, managing invoices, payments, reconciliations, and producing monthly P&Ls and balance sheets
  • Year-end statutory accounts including liaison with auditors
  • Responsible for Cash Flow Forecasting with emphasis on planning cash flow across multiple currencies including exchange rate management
  • Management of AP & AR function
  • Working with the wider business to forecast and monitor product sales & stock
  • Payroll & employee expenses
  • Setup and maintenance of global insurance policies
  • Playing a key role in working with senior figures to help shape our business and future growth strategy
  • Maintenance of company share option scheme
  • Employment contracts
  • Support of global markets including US & China
  • Other ad-hoc analysis and business support

Profile

Finance Manager Requirements:

  • Studying towards ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience
  • 5+ year's relevant finance experience
  • Exceptional numeracy and data skills
  • A proactive, self-starter who needs minimal management
  • Experience in forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • Strong skills in relevant software packages including Excel and accountancy software
  • A hard worker with strong determination to drive growth and success
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to assist in all areas of the company
