As a Finance BA, you will work very closely with the business and personally engage with senior stakeholders in order to collaboratively produce information to improve and stream line services as a trusted member of the team. The Opportunity: In this new and exciting role your primary job responsibility is the production of financial and management reporting for the UK&I Leadership Team, HR, markets, and sales & pipeline, including build, design and production. Responsibilities:
The Business Information (BI) Team is responsible for the production of financial and management reporting for the UK&I Leadership Team, HR, markets, and sales & pipeline, including build, design and production. This is a high profile role reporting to the BI team leadership. It involves the development and rollout of integrated reports. Once the reports are in production, they will be migrated to the GSS in India as per the global outsourcing strategy. Skills and Attributes for Success: Assist with and own where appropriate the development and maintenance of specific reports as required Ensure all development is fully documented/annotated so it can be migrated to the GSS in India Assist with and own where appropriate the design and development of ad hoc reporting and analysis Information reported is complete, accurate & reliable. Systems & reports built in an efficient way such that reporting processes run smoothly and reports produced on time. Systems & reports built to the exact specification and design of the BI team processes and structure. To qualify for the role you must have: A self-starter with a proven proactive approach and an eye for detail, the ideal candidate will be a keen team player with the confidence to develop good relationships at all levels across the business. MS Access development - a detailed understanding of MS Access queries, with the ability to pick up other analysts work with minimal support. Experience of investigating and manipulating large data sets is a definite advantage. MS Excel - familiar with advanced functionality of Excel; especially the most advanced aspects of pivot tables including VBA for Access and Excel (experience in VB writing for automation, recording macros is not enough). Exposure to financial analysis work, ideally within Professional Services, although commercial or other analysis experience would also be considered. Aptitude and interest for quickly learning how to use the teams / company's current reporting systems. Ideally, you'll also have: Experience in SQL server and T-SQL development would be a bonus.
