This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a hands on Financial Controller to join a successful, privately owned company with a £100m turnover based in Andover. You will have the chance to make this role your own and apply a hands on approach. This is a permanent vacancy paying a generous salary of up to £70k. Free parking will be provided. Your duties will include: Preparation of annual financial budgets and reporting and monitoring thereon on a monthly basis Maintaining the Company's accounting records Preparing annual statutory financial statements; Overseeing the annual audit process Defining and regulating company and departmental policies and procedures Determining the monitoring criteria required for efficient and accurate reporting, ensuring that the internal controls are effective The successful candidate will have: Knowledge of Sage Accounting An Accountancy qualification Educated to A Level/Degree standard Be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role First class analytical skills, strong communications and interpersonal skills Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders within the organisation; Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, Internet and email.
