Your new company
A large logistics business who have a finance department in the Merseyside area, who are seeking an experienced ideally part qualified Accountant with a strong aptitude towards finance and business systems.


Your new role
The role is to provide support to the Finance team on both a Systems & Business Partnering basis. The ideal candidate will take ownership of and be responsible for the maintenance of the Finance systems including SAP, maintenance of the General Ledger structures, the associated interfaces and consolidating performance and Shareholder reporting. There will also be an opportunity to work with the in a Business Partnering capacity.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years working experience in a relevant position. A good working knowledge of SAP and BI platforms is desirable. You should also possess advanced Microsoft excel skills (index/match/VBA), and a sound knowledge of current accounting standards, practices and processes. You should also experience of reporting complex financial data to non-finance managers.
