The Financial Controller will directly report to the CFO and owner of the company and will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations. Providing leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting activities of the company. Our client is an established Italian luxury furniture design brand, leader in high quality modern and contemporary furniture. Main activities: All financial processes, controls, management accounts, reporting and data analysis. Completing monthly P&L, Balance Sheet Management, budgets and forecast reviews and supporting quarterly financial accounts. Delivering weekly reporting and analysis performance. Cash flow management. Monthly forecasting. Managing monthly invoice, direct debits bill runs, annual budget preparation, VAT returns and month end reconciliation. Supporting year end audit. Work with ad-hoc projects. Regularly review procedures. Identify opportunities for improving profitability of our business. Support the CFO with some of the day to day operations. Managing a Financial Assistant and supervising the job of 4 Sales people. Experience and Education: Economical Degree or equivalent. CIMA or ACCA Qualification preferred. At least 5 year of experience in a Finance Manager role (Professional Experience in Accounting and Controlling fields). Technical and Soft Skills: Excellent team and work ethic. Problem solving skills. Able to prepare and present financial reports to financial and non-financial audiences. Able to analyse sales and industry trends. Excellent excel skills, experience of Sage one payroll, Twinfield and Newbase is an advantage. Organised, attention to detail and able to meet all deadlines. Italian language is mandatory. Previous experience in the luxury field is advantageous.
