Job Details
This role will see you reporting to the Consolidation Team Manager, and carrying out key activities to complete the consolidated monthly results of the bank. This will include journal preparation and posting, querying and understanding data submissions from stakeholders, and the preparation of commentary and analysis to demonstrate an understanding of the outputs.
Recognised as a primary point of contact for stakeholders for matters pertaining to accounting and financial reporting advice, you'll provide a reliable source of knowledge and expertise on the general ledger and consolidation systems.

- Proactively establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Finance
- Support the Consolidation Team Manager with continuous improvement, operational and data quality initiatives
- Manage any changes regarding the financial reporting requirements and delivery of effective process improvements
Profile
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant or someone with extensive experience in financial reporting roles. You'll have knowledge of IFRS statutory reporting requirements, preferably including consolidation accounting and principles, and will also bring strong analytical and communication skills.
You'll also demonstrate:
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong planning skills, able to meet tight deadlines
- A keen eye for detail
