Temporary Finance Assistant job in Sheffield

Hays are currently partnered with a flagship leading Sheffield based organisation, operating in the surrounding areas of central Sheffield.

Your new role
You will be working directly alongside the Finance Manager, utilising your wide range of skills in part of a busy central services team. You will work in a vibrant and rewarding environment, working on your own initiative and within a driven and high performing team.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of using Accounts Software.
Previous experience of working within a public sector environment will be desirable but not essential.

Experience of identifying gaps in provision and practice and finding solutions for improvement.
Flexibility - to work in a busy central office and in an advisory capacity within a team
Ability to work in busy environment and adhere to deadlines
Ability to treat all information with the strictest confidentiality
Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance staff, both internally & externally at all levels.

What you'll get in return
A 3 month contract with options to extend, a competitive salary of £18,000 to £20,000 per annum in addition to working in an organisation that you know makes a tangible difference to the people of Sheffield.
