Are you an Accounts Semi Senior or Trainee Accountant with at least 2 years experience, currently working for a small or medium sized accountancy practice firm, looking to join a London based firm in a role where you will work with all the firms sole trader clients for 12 months, then progress onto working with larger Ltd companies? Are you keen to work in a role mixed 60% statutory accounts preparation for sole traders and 40% personal tax returns and VAT returns? Your role will be varied and include working on an interesting array of London based sole trader clients. When you are not busy some of your time will be spent on the larger limited company clients. You would specialise in sole traders for 12 months, and then move onto working with limited companies and prepare their statutory accounts and corporation tax returns. You will also have the opportunity to oversee a few basic bookkeeping assignments. Rapid progression is expected for the right candidate. The firm offers full study support for AAT / ACCA exams (although these must be completed in your own time). To be considered for this newly created role you must be a semi senior accountant, probably studying AAT or ACCA but qualified by experience candidates will also be considered. You must have at least 2 years experience, including the preparation of sole trader accounts and personal tax returns. Experience of Ltd company work is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. You must have experience of a wide range of software packages (Xero and Quickbooks would be an advantage), be a team player, and be able to work to tight deadlines.
