Job Details

Supporting the finance department and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. You will interact with various members of staff and customers so will need to be friendly and able to convey yourself in a confident manner.

The client is a multi million turnover business in Cardiff looking for the right candidate to join their finance team with excellent opportunities for progression and career development.

Description

The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Day to day running and control of the invoices within the Purchase Ledger function
  • Liaise with managers for invoice authorisation
  • Matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes and resolve any discrepancies with the relevant managers
  • Coding of invoices
  • Posting invoices to the ledger
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cheque & BACs payments
  • Issuing remittance advices
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Profile

    The successful candidate will:

    • Have at least 1 year of relevant purchase ledger experiene or be an accounting graduate.
    • Be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff
    • Be keen to progress with the business and develop their accounting experience
    • Have solid excel skills
    • A friendly and confident manner with good attention to detail.
