Graduate Accountant - Northampton

Key Responsibilities

•   Review of month end plant submissions and posting of month end journals
•   Preparation of month end reconciliations
•   Detailed analysis of month end results
•   Collation and preparation of information used to forecast financial performance and position
•   Preparation of sales and cost analyses
•   Preparation of VAT reconciliations and submissions
•   Accounts payable and accounts receivable cover

Key Competencies

•   Recent Accounting/Finance graduate (or final year student)
•   Strong analytical skills – detail oriented
•   Good time management skills
•   Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills
•   Leadership potential
•   Microsoft Office experience – high level of Excel proficiency particularly desirable
•   Relevant work experience desirable but not required
