Payroll Clerk (Part-time)

Permanent Payroll Clerk - Cardiff Approx 30 hours £18,500 - £22,000 FTE

Your new company
This is an opportunity to work with a well established Accountancy Practice within their busy Payroll bureau who process weekly and monthly payrolls for approximately 300 clients.

Your new role
You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of payroll using current HMRC legislation and RTI routines, pension auto enrolment, maintenance and updating of all client payroll files, liaising with HMRC when necessary, assist with employee queries, deal with end of year final full payment submissions and production of P60s.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have an excellent depth of experience of manually processing end to end payroll either within a payroll bureau or a company with high volumes of employees with multiple weekly and monthly deadlines. You will possess up to date knowledge of HMRC legislation including statutory deductions and have a good understand of auto enrolment. The ability to be flexible around hours of work around peak periods of work is required. Prior Sage experience is desirable.

What you'll get in return
Salary of up to £22,000 (FTE) dependent on experience. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Please note that the ideal hours available for this role will be 30 per week. However, there can be some flexibility around the amount of hours and how many days these are worked over.
