This is a great opportunity for a Payroll Officer with SAGE payroll experience to join a very busy fast paced company during a period of sustained growth. You will be responsible for running the process unsupervised and will need to have the confidence to submit RTI info to the HMRC website as well as processing pension and auto enrolment information, handling payroll enquiries and processing starters and leavers on the system. This role may represent a great introduction to industry payroll if you've been in a practice environment before!

You will be responsible for working in a fast paced team completing payroll for 1000+ employees, inputting hours for weekly, monthly and shift patterns payments. You will be maintaining the payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data; identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records and answering staff and line manager questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records

You will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is paramount.
Office hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday but the successful candidate will need to be flexible in order to cover payroll deadlines that may occasional mean an early or late start.
