Job Details
The role of the Finance Director will be to work in conjunction with other members of the senior leadership team to create and oversee the development of a long term financial plan. Leading the delivery and improvement of an already high performing finance function through coaching and advice.

Description
The key responsibilities of the Finance Director:
- Provide strategic support to drive performance and improvements in support of the organisation's objectives
- Develop a long term financial plan
- Delivery of a financial outturn consistent with budgets
- Implement succession planning, mentoring and developing the finance team
- Strategic financial analysis and advice
Profile
The successful Finance Director:
- A qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)
- Experience at a senior level in finance management in an organisation
- Stakeholder management / communication and relationship building skills
- Demonstratable strategic vision and contributions to public plans
- Balancing conflicting demands of multiple stakeholders
